CARTRIDGE EXTRACTION ASSEMBLY, SAMPLE PROCESSOR
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This Commercial Item Description covers an extraction cartridge for use with a DuPont automated sample processor in extraction of cannaboid.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be an extraction cartridge for use with the DuPont PREP automated sample processor in the preparation of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) samples from urine, for purposes of confirmation by gas chromatography after initial detection by use of an RIA test kit.
Shall consist of a cap, effluent cup, and a sample reservoir with a resin bed. The resin bed shall be designed for the extraction of cannabinoid metabolite from urine.
Shall be compatible with the DuPont PREP processor in the automatic separating, extracting and concentrating analytes from a urine sample.
Workmanship. The extraction cartridge shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
Unit. Package (PG). One package containing one hundred and forty-four cartridge extraction assemblies, as specified constitutes on unit.
